OMICIDA are new modern-day thrash metal titans, as they wear their influences on the sleeves while adding their own unique flare with their extreme precision and break-neck, dual-guitar shredding. The band, founded by ex-White Wizzard member Giovanni Durst (drums), doesn’t try and re-invent the wheel, they just add some new dynamics to it. OMICIDA, meaning “killer” in Italian, also features ex-White Wizzard member Erik Kluiber (guitars), along with ex-Devil You Know member Roy LaVari (guitars).

Durst's main influences have always been Slayer, Testament, Kreator, Overkill, Coroner and Exodus, just to name a few.
OMICIDA delivers a frenetic and dizzying array of speed and technicality, while maintaining a crushing groove with melodic hooks. The new wave of thrash has arrived and the future is looking bright.
