Despite popular opinion and their provocative right-wing content, Кранты were not a true NS band in the sense of the word. The controversy they generated was primarily due to the band's insults and black humour. Furthermore, they played with gigs organised by NBP - National Bolshevik Party, a left-winged Russian political organisation.
