On the year of 2002, São Paulo had a new Doom Metal band formed by Paulo Biajante(V), Edgar Vecchi(G), Luiz Oliveira(G), Wagner Almeida(B), Romulo Barboza(K) and Adrian Victor(D). From the wish to mak a new kind of Doom Metal, looking for the extreme feelings and atmospheric ambient, Dying Embrace made a different kind of “doom metal”, looking for all possibilities of human feelings expression.
If you need a reference, Dying Embrace sounds like Opeth, My Dying Bride, Pink Floyd and Anathema, who also made the base of his influences.
Invited to be one of the support bands in the Anathema’s São Paulo concert, the first work entitled "Chronic Delusion" made the band reach different ways on his short career.
After the end of recording, Adrian Had left the band, having André Silva in his place on the live drums.
After a year and a half, Adrian get back to the band, bringing new experiences and good technique.
The year of 2007, until half past from 2008, Dying Embrace members dedicated to side projects, what made each member arrive with some new good stuff, vast influences and grew up its technique, focusing new composition and lyrics to lead people to feel this evolutionary path band have chosen from now.
Unfortunately, due personal reasons, Luiz Oliveira one of the founding members and composer, needed left the band, and Rafael Souza, from Eternal Malediction took his place on lead guitars.
