Starting in 2007 and adopting a post-hardcore sound, Brighter Than A Thousand Suns had already graced the pages of Alternative Press and taken national tours before catching the attention of Tragic Hero Records, a partnership which yielded the band’s 2011 full-length entitled "Survival Machines”. After leaving Tragic Hero Records, the band gradually shifted away from their straight-up post-hardcore beginnings to incorporate more of an 80’s synth rock sound to accompany their darker aggressive side. During that period, they released two EPs , 2013’s “The End of Suffering”, 2014’s “Flux”, and a host of singles. As members came and went, the core of the band has always stayed the same: the husband and wife duo of Angelika and Randy Roswell. The combination of the group’s heavier side with electronic-rock elements reached its pinnacle on their EP "The Way Out", which was released in 2017. Choosing to push the boundaries of their purely aggressive side and give their electronic components more of a back seat, the duo released “Rebirth” in 2018, a four-song EP that sees them return to their heavier roots, this time with a progressive metal-like diversity. Recent stand-out endeavors include "Busy Signal", "Books on Fire" and "Replica" which put the group on a course toward a nu-metal/hard rock sound focusing more on groove and intensity.
