these together and then lay the foundations for a weird world :
Melted space!
A world that would be the last stage of Dante's journey, a world
where forgotten and lost souls tell their experiences to travellers.
Sunk into oblivion, that is for them the only way to keep their
memories alive.
The first instrumental album « There's a place » is released in 2009. Its
universe is dark and gloomy and we are guided in this first journey
by Dante's, Foucault pendulum's and sun's memories. In the same time,
Pierre began to compose a more symphonic and more metal
influenced sequel. Voices, powerfull guitar parts and great scoring
are given pride of place in this album. Conceived as a metal opera
(the first one ever made in France), it takes place in a village
inhabited by fools. Here belong the olympus gods. Their decline
leads them into the Melted Space, some have found here what they
were looking for, others have only felt bitter regrets. At dusk,
Selene, the beautiful moon, rises and relates her tragic love. A battle
between passion and reason... At last, a moan is heard beyond
mountains, Lucifer screams his regrets and his thirst of vengeance.
Wanting to get back his position, he calls upon his minions to get
help in his quest for power. But everybody is not prepared to accept
that.
To bring this unique universe to life, Pierre surround himself with
26 singers and musicians from bands like Hacride, Destinity, The Old Dead
Tree, Carnival in Coal, Phazm, Kells, Otargos... Everyone of them really got
involved in the task they were given and brought out their
characters or their instrumental parts. The result of these
encounters is unusual, unexpected and powerfull. The best of
french metal is brought together in a terrinfying but impressive
world.
Axel Wursthorn (Carnival in Coal, Wormfood...) and Franck Hueso
(Hacride, Klone...) had been put in charge of the production. This
collaboration had the effect of bringing a powerfull sound to this
ambitious project.
