6 мар 2014 : THE NEW DOMINION объявили о распаде
Голландская трэш/дэт-металл-группа THE NEW DOMINION, в состав которой входит барабанщик PESTILENCE Yuma Van Eekelen, опубликовала следующее сообщение:

This officially could be witnessed for the first time with the release of the EP “…and black gleams the eye” in March 2007. The result was a rapidly growing fan base, the ever improving execution of gigs and the signing of a record deal on the highly acclaimed label of Neurotic Records in May 2008.
In the meantime, stages were shared with bands like Six Feet Under, Belphegor, Nile, Behemoth and they were lined up at Neurotic Death Fest 2 years in a row.
However controversially received from time to time, the release of their first full-length album “…and kindling deadly slumber” without a doubt delivered them a spot in the international metal scene. This was immediately embodied with a complete European tour, as they accompanied fellow countrymen Pestilence on their first reunion in 15 years, along with Norwegian Vreid.
Incomparable and elusive to the majority of acts, they continued reinforcing and expanding their brutally founded base with rapid and violent pace.
Due to personal careers of various band-members, a one-year-break was inserted shortly after. But seed is thicker than blood and the first new material had already been written in the beginning of 2010. On a compository level, the group as usual obliged themselves to excel in evolution and maturation. The trajectory made them withdraw themselves from the surface and has been proven to be of great influence on the writing-process, both musically as lyrically.
Although immense positive experiences were gained in the past three years, the search for an even more customized and unique playing style left it’s marks and claimed it’s toll; founding member Marc van Stiphout no longer participates in the band. However lengthening the recordings of the much anticipated second release, it determined the rest even more to exceed on all possible levels. Result are 9 devastating songs, each of them with it’s own identity and each of them forming it’s own unique trip and chapter of the story that needs to be exposed.
Forced to cocoon and transform, as changeling they are reborn into the new faced metal-machine mankind might expect them to be. Obscurely baptized by misanthropy, they have become the stuff that violence is made of.
