Какой шарж?? Как можно здесь усмотреть пародию??
Да это лучший павер-хэви проэкт года, если не десятилетия!! Вокал выше всяких похвал - от гипер-высоких нот в стиле Клауса Мейне, до жесткого хрипа и завывания а-ля Оззи.
Тексты действительно трушные, но не вызывают отвращения, ибо очень ненавязчивы и легки для восприятия. Музыкальная основа тоже не подкачала - цепляющие мелодии, сдобренные отличнными риффами и запоминающимися соляками.
Попесенно очень тяжело что-либо выделить. Каждая вещь по своему шедевральна.
Тут вам и прекрасная баллада "Unbreakble Chain", и почти трешевый номер "The Sledge", дань уважения Оззи в "No Way" и конечно же безусловный лидер альбома - "Tired". А сверххитовых боевиков, от проигрышей которых пробирает до костей, здесь вообще пол-альбома.
Я слушал альбом и не мог не удивляться - как можно, не выходя за пределы такого перетертого стиля, записать СТОЛЬКО цепляющего и крепкого материала??
Итог: 10 баллов с неимоверным количеством плюсов.
Hammerfall и Rage - учитесь по этому учебнику. Побольше бы таких альбомов в павер-хэви среде =)) |

Сразу скажу, что от этих парней я не ожидал такого альбома. Кристально чистый, 100% нет, не пауэр, а (читай название альбома) хэви-метал в духе “Пристов”, Accept и ещё всего разного. Недаром ребята на своём сайте обещали сделать альбом гимновым, хэви-металическим до предела. Удалось блестяще. Попесенно перечислять не буду, а скажу лишь, что первая и одновременно заглавная вещь альбома действительно является маршем, под неё можно горы свернуть. По сравнению с прошлыми работами, «The Book of Heavy Metal» представляет собой зрелый, серьёзный и тяжёлый альбом, который может понравиться и старым металлистам, и молодым чуханам, и поклонникам классического хэви, и пауэрщикам. Интересна композиция номер “11” - «Unbreakable Chain». Невероятно похоже на Scorpions, особенно в манере пения Никласа Истфельдта - ну Клаус Майне, да и только! Не подкачала и обложка, которая, по-моему, олицетворяет хэви-метал и идеально подходит для книги об оном. Да здравствует хэви-метал! |

Уже само название третьего альбома звездного проекта Dream Evil навевает улыбку. Ну а при прослушивании все окончательно встает на свои места. Перед нами пародия на хэви-метал. Тут вам и Manowar с его трушностью под названием "Марш Металистов", и отличный шарж на Оззи и Закка Уайлда ("No Way"), и Scorpions, c Accept и Europe. При этом, группа не сбивается на цитаты, а умело копирует манеру упомянутых персонажей, сочетая ее со своим собственным материалом. Все это дело подкреплено звонким вокалом Никласа Исфельдта, шикарным продюсированием Фредрика Нордстрема и мастерской игрой Гаса Джи. |
