 По не известной мне причине в Италии проживает огромное количество техничных музыкантов. Такое чувство, что у каждого третьего есть гитара или клавиши, на которых он все свое свободное время гоняет гаммы и арпеджио. YouTube ломится от роликов, на которых никому не известные гитаристы могут запросто дать фору нашей отечественной гордости Виктору Зинчуку. И при этом Италия не дала миру ни одной значимой величины, играющей прогрессив, стиль, в котором впечатляющая техническая подготовка может компенсировать даже не самые лучшие сочинительские навыки. Максимум, что мне известно – это различные вариации power с прогрессивными элементами. Такое чувство, что молодая команда Moonlight Comedy исходила из очень похожих соображений. Если есть свободная ниша, то почему бы ее не занять? Уровень музыкантов позволяет сыграть чего душа пожелает, потому оперативно подобрали вокалиста под ЛяБри, который еще в придачу написал им на неграмотном английском концептуальные тексты о внутренней (то есть духовной) жизни человека, и готово. На выходе получили странную смесь из идей Dream Theater и Evergrey, причем влияния шведов здесь даже больше, но в любом случае, что до первых, что до вторых им далеко. Несмотря на то, что все классно сыграно и записано, остро не хватает цельности и осмысленности музыки. Хотели сыграть как старшие товарищи, получилось же, что у каждого есть свое представление о том, как должен звучать результат. Конечно, это всего лишь дебют, и если сильно постараться, можно даже выделить несколько относительно неплохих вещей, та же открывашка «Oceans» с запоминающейся мелодией или «Immortal Child». Но музыкальная разобщенность участников и суммарное количество штампов, притом часто не самых удачных, все же сильно сдерживает их потенциал. А он, нужно признать, у них есть. |
