 Большинство заслуживающих внимание биографических фактов этого польского коллектива я изложил в рецензии на их работу 1999 года «Черные тучи над темным величием». Поэтому в этом обзоре только впечатления от творчества.
За 5 лет творчество поляков претерпело значительные изменения. Из основателей коллектива в строю остался только гитарист Паймон. Имена остальных трёх музыкантов мне ни о чем не говорят, по видимому, это новая кровь. С вливанием новой крови заметно ужесточилось и творчество.
Первое, что бросается в глаза – это то, что концепция проекта стала намного более непримиримой и мизантпропичной. Исчезло воспевание мрачных аспектов природы и лунных безлюдных ночей. Теперь это человеконенавистничество и уничтожение людской расы, что более чем наглядно подтверждается названием релиза. Тексты всех композиций концентрируются как раз на этих двух темах.
Недюжинно озверела также и музыка. Практически исчезли торжественно-возвышенные проходы, которыми так выделялся ранний Thunderbolt. Теперь это очень скоростной, озверелый и мощный Черный Металл. Можно провести определенные параллели с поздним творчеством бельгийских актов Ancient Rites (за вычетом языческой составляющей) и Enthroned. У поляков похожий подход к творчеству: сложные, ломанные структуры композиций на повышенных скоростях, практически безостановочная канонада ударных, захлебывающийся ненавистью истеричный вокал. В музыке достаточно много бэкграундных клавишных, что придает звучанию заметную атмосферность. При этом назвать слышимое симфо-блэком язык, я думаю, не повернется ни у кого.
При нескольких первых прослушиваниях разобраться что к чему совсем непросто. Музыка настолько сложна, что проследить за ней и вникнуть в неё сходу, с наскоку практически невозможно. Требуются усердие и многочисленные вдумчивые прослушивания. Зато когда въезжаешь и погружаешься в музыку, оторваться практически невозможно. Остается только внимать затаив дыхание и восхищаться сумрачным гением музыкантов. |
