 Когда Irond выпускал очередной альбом немцев Lacrimas Profundere «Filthy Notes for Frozen Hearts», была небольшая надежда на то, что он дополнит его тремя бонусами с вышедшего ранее мини-альбома, но не срослось… И вот прошло пару лет, и уже другой лейбл, Mazzar, дал возможность всем фэнам коллектива пополнить свою коллекцию ‘новым старым релизом’. Рассказывать о том, насколько хороша заглавная тема (представленная в чуть сокращенной сингловой версии и альбомном варианте) «Again It’s Over» смысла нет никакого – это один из самых ярких номеров в позднем творчестве Lacrimas Profundere, который легко может поспорить с лучшими работами The 69 Eyes. А вот рассказать про не попавшие в полноформатник остальные три трека стоит: красивая, среднетемповая и больше похожая на творчество позднего Sentenced «Gallows Song» выгодно контрастирует с готик-глэмовой «Again It’s Over»; более энергичный «Supreme Surrender» менее интересен, так как слишком близок все к тем же финнам из “Глазок” и, наконец, на закуску, лучший b-side с пластинки, неожиданно трогательная и душевная баллада «To Watch Her While She Wipes Her Eye», буквально выворачивающая душу наизнанку. Остается только гадать, почему она не попала в основной альбом, где есть вещи куда слабее. В общем и целом – очень достойный миньон, превосходящий на голову пару предыдущих студийных опусов команды. Не зря же говорят, что краткость – сестра таланта (Диск предоставлен компанией Mazzar Records). |
