| 1. Hail To The Hammer
Longing eyes turn into the sun
Low in the winter
Grey as a wolf now the wind has come
Cold as a hunter
Ride across the sky, thunder roll and lightning fly
Gone is the summer
What will keep us warm in the winter
Tales of those who died, sword in hand in times gone |

"Hail to the Hammer" - тяжёлая и грубая, как настоящая холодная душа викинга. |

Hail to the hammer, Hail to the hammer
Narrow eyes turn against the wind
Out from the ocean
Untill the day when we sail again
Life is a long pain
Ride across the sky, thunder roll and lightning fly
Gone is the summer
What will keep us warm in the winter
Tales of those who died, sword in hand in times gone by
Hail to the hammer, Hail to the hammer
To the god of thunder
The god that's protecting us all
All hail to the giant hunter
And hail to the forces of nature all
Ride across the sky, thunder roll and lightning fly
Gone is the summer
What will keep us warm in the winter
Tales of those who died, sword in hand in times gone by
Hail to the hammer, Hail to the hammer,
Hail to the hammer, Hail to the hammer
2. Excavation
What would you give, what would you offer to be given wisdom
Which extremes would you go to, to be given the mead
Give an eye or even sacrifice to you yourself
You should have seen, even your life must take an end sometime
Was there a way had your eyes had seen more
If you had the chance to read your runes and find your
Fate, excavate, then would you hesitate to see what will be your predestined fate
"I see finally, visions of what will be
My fate, hesitate, it will be too late
...when done"
What did you give, what would you offer to be given wisdom
Are you glad and does your soul rest in your wide learning
Just which horrors lie ahead you did not know it then, knowledge
It can darken minds like clouds the shining sun from above the earth
Now you know all, was it worth an eyeball
You had the chance to read your runes and find your
Fate, excavate, did you no hesitate to see what will be your predestined fate
"I see finally, visions of what will be
My fate, hesitate, it will be too late
...when done"
Was there a way had your eyes had seen more
If you had the chance to read your runes and find your
Fate, excavate, I saw you hesitate to see what will be your predestined fate
"I see finally, visions of what will be
My fate, hesitate, it will be too late
...when done"
3. The Rune
Down from the mountain, cries of an headless love, high above
Cold seems to me your kiss from the ocean deep, in my sleep
I see you go south on the evening tide, end your fight
Futile attempts, you can't change the way, of our day and age of heathen and Hel
"I've been living here from when I was born
And my heathen kin it was that found and then populated this land
Who is then this man who demands my scat
He whose mighty ancestors drove mine out of Norway to seek new lands
Which are slipping through my hands
Hold they nothing more divine
Than the property of land
Set the thing here and then
Line my booth with cloth, black as ravens wings
See to that these men are dealt as those mighty kings men that came before
Old and weak I am, a pain behind my eyes
Here in darkness with my silver bags, let them come in and take what's mine
All the islands should be mine
But we're running out of time
Wield the axe and make them mine
I will rule within my time
Here in pain
Here in darkness
Here in decadence
Lies my land like a rune that's written by the gods upon the
Ocean deep, so it reads, thou shalt not enslave my kin, I
Swear this oath, I'll keep my faith and
I'll keep my
Kin from all harm, raise the song to the mountains majesty for thee"
Now the millenium has gone
And the sad and weary tales
Of the subsequent events
Are what's left of greater times
The millenium has gone
And the sad and weary tales
Of the subsequent events
Are what's left of greater times
4. Ten Wild Dogs
Ran around on this ground all you have got
Yesterday went away still you did not
understand in the end we have to leave
Can't believe, I can't believe, still I just can
Not believe that I would deceive and not try to leave from the web that you weave,
I have to
Kill my dogs my ten wild Dogs of desire
I've lost my guts my selfish mutts can see
Kill my dogs my dancing ten wild Dogs of desire
I've lost the leash and now they're after me
let the beasts have a feast, let the hounds be released
Kill my dogs my ten wild Dogs of desire
I've lost my guts my selfish mutts can see
Kill my dogs my dancing ten wild Dogs of desire
I've lost the leash and now they're after me
it's to late to repent, left with nothing in the end, alone
There's no time for the rhyme I have to run
When I fall has it all been said and done
All I've seen in between makes it a life
For a life, for a life, still it just can
not be right that I can not fight
for the dying light go into the night, I have to
Kill my dogs my ten wild Dogs of desire
I've lost my guts my selfish mutts can see
Kill my dogs my dancing ten wild Dogs of desire
I've lost the leash and now they're after me
let the beasts have a feast, let the hounds be released
Kill my dogs my ten wild Dogs of desire
I've lost my guts my selfish mutts can see
Kill my dogs my dancing ten wild Dogs of desire
I've lost the leash and now they're after me
it's to late to repent, left with nothing in the end, alone
5. God Of War
Tell me not that there is a higher
Truth to life than my own
And forces of unseen kind
Beyond our imagination
At the end of the day
Right or wrong must depend on
Weak or strong, and how would we
Hang the last hangman
The truth is sad
Much wants more
Hang your head
Ask what for
We sacrifice
Blood and gore
Before the eyes
Of the God of War
I believe not life could ever exist
without the survival of the fittest
Maybe this is the best
We can do with what we have
Should we not be grateful
Priviledged as we are
Walking this rugged old planet
Who are we to complain
Such is the nature of man
This was to be our lot
The truth is sad
Much wants more
Hang your head
Ask what for
We sacrifice
Blood and gore
Before the eyes
Of the God of War
6. Sand In The Wind
Lifetime is short compared to the time the earth has existed in
Earth's lifetime compared to that of the great universe
Equally short, our images of the world that we populate
Die harder, our fate and our images
Seen through our eyes might well be lies
What access do we have to the world we are living in
Is this a dream that we live, it's hard to believe
What proof can there be of life, I just think that
it's strange how we all walk around, on visitors feet upon our ground
and make believe that this is all, as we know what all is
And strange how we can't understand,
compared, earth is only a grain of sand,
when faced with this, I can't deny that ignorance is bliss
When all things flow eternally, and no man is ever there to see
the great eternal unperceived, what is existence
Are these things real although unseen,
and what does it matter that we have been
like grains of sand blow in the wind, so is our existence
Kill the fire, cut the wire, deny desire, be a liar, watch me then
Feed the fire, pull the wire, then take it higher than lie, don't waste breath on it
While we think redemption will save us from temptation
We can't escape religion whatever it's origin, is there no
way out of the madness, it's only brought us sadness
consider it an illness in life, why did it never seem
strange how we all walk around, on visitors feet upon our ground
and make believe that this is all, as we know what all is
and strange how we can't understand,
compared, earth is only a grain of sand,
when faced with this, I can't deny that ignorance is bliss
When all things flow eternally, and no man is ever there to see
the great eternal unperceived, what is existence
Are these things real although unseen,
And what does it matter that we have been
like grains of sand blow in the wind, so is our existence

[1.]
Viljið tær hoyra kvæði mítt,
vilja tær orðum trúgva,
um hann Ólav Trygvason,
hagar skal ríman snúgva.
Glymur dansur í høll,
Dans sláið ring
Glaðir ríða Noregs menn
til Hildar ting.
[3.]
Knørrur var gjørdur á Noregs landi,
gott var í honum evni:
sjútti alin og fýra til,
var kjølurin millum stevna.
Glymur dansur í høll,
Dans sláið ring
Glaðir ríða Noregs menn
til Hildar ting.
[8.]
Har kom maður á bergið oman
við sterkum boga í hendi:
"Jallurin av Ringaríki
hann meg higar sendi."
Glymur dansur í høll,
Dans sláið ring
Glaðir ríða Noregs menn
til Hildar ting.
[10.]
"Einar skalt tú nevna meg,
væl kann boga spenna,
Tambar eitur mín menski bogi,
ørvar drívur at renna."
Glymur dansur í høll,
Dans sláið ring
Glaðir ríða Noregs menn
til Hildar ting.
[11.]
"Hoyr tú tað, tú ungi maður,
vilt tú við mær fara,
tú skalt vera mín ørvargarpur
Ormin at forsvara."
Glymur dansur í høll,
Dans sláið ring
Glaðir ríða Noregs menn
til Hildar ting.
[12.]
Gingu teir til strandar oman,
ríkir menn og reystir,
lunnar brustu og jørðin skalv:
teir drógu knørr úr neysti.
Glymur dansur í høll,
Dans sláið ring
Glaðir ríða Noregs menn
til Hildar ting.
[71.]
Einar spenti triðja sinni,
æt1ar jall at raka,
tá brast strongur av stáli stinna,
í boganum tók at braka.
Glymur dansur í høll,
Dans sláið ring
Glaðir ríða Noregs menn
til Hildar ting.
[72.]
Allir hoyrdu streingin springa,
kongurin seg undrar:
"Hvat er tað á mínum skipi,
so ógvuliga dundrar ?"
Glymur dansur í høll,
Dans sláið ring
Glaðir ríða Noregs menn
til Hildar ting.
[73.]
Svaraði Einar Tambarskelvir
kastar boga sín
"Nú brast Noregi úr tínum hondum,
kongurin, harri mín !"
Glymur dansur í høll,
Dans sláið ring
Glaðir ríða Noregs menn
til Hildar ting.
[30.]
Nú skal lætta ljóðið av,
eg kvøði ei longur á sinni;
nú skal eg taka upp annan tátt;
dreingir leggi í minni !
Glymur dansur í høll,
Dans sláið ring
Glaðir ríða Noregs menn
til Hildar ting.
8. How Far To Asgaard
A journey, with which we attempt to look beyond our boundaries
To answer questions asked for centuries
Will it not only leave us with more and greater mysteries
That's the question, that is
What keeps me rowing, I'm sick of this strife
I don't know where we're going, we trusted Leif
He said, "You'll see Vineland is out there
I can take us there I know where we are going
Don't deny your need for knowing how far
all goes on and where the oceans end
The autumn wind and evening tide will take us through Midgaard"
Still we've sighted only sea till now
As we sail I sometimes wonder how far to Asgaard
Greatness lies within the silence of the ocean
Where we end is not our decision
and though hidden, fate is fixed with no evasion
All men should try to live for each
Day for the evening, each week for the end
each summer for the winter, each life for the death
Tell me, does this all have a meaning
And Leif Ericsson just stared into the distance
And asked the question, "How far does it
all go on and where do oceans end
The autumn wind and evening tide will take us through Midgaard"
Still we've sighted only sea till now
As we sail I sometimes wonder how far to Asgaard
Dagurin skín so fagurliga
Komið er hægst á summarið
