"In Your Face"- так называется сингл Children Of Bodom, появившийся на свет в 2005 году. Что можно сказать про эту песню... Во-первых, заметно изменился наш Children Of Bodom. В начале песни сильно бросается во внимание тяжесть и монотонность бас-гитары, незатейливость ее мелодии. Вокал Alexi Laiho остался, в общем-то, таким же, однако, поменялся стиль его звучания. Здесь финский "screamer" просто вопит, особо не задумываясь попадает ли он в ритм основной мелодии. Вокал стал принимать форму пения в трэш-метале, что, я думаю, особенно не украсило песню. Здесь он местами - просто монотонный крик-речетатив, с повторяющимися "mother f..k !". Роль синтезаторной партии, в общем-то, осталась неизменной - неброская и не вялая, хорошо подчеркивает "объемность" звучания песни, ее трехмерность и "глубину". Мотив песни хороший, запоминающийся. Приятно удивила вторая часть песни наличием соло-проигрыша, конечно, не самого лучшего, какого ожидал я, но и на этом спасибо. Ритм также стал скорее классически трэшевым, хотя, конечно, ничуть не уменьшилось влияние death metal.
Вообще, песня неплохая и качество записи отличное. Учитывая все здесь написанное, ставлю 7 баллов! |

В поддержку нового альбома, с которым произошли задержки, группе пришлось выпустить еще один сингл, состоящий стандартно из двух композиций, одной из которых является кавер-версия одного из хитов поп-звезды Бритни Спирс. Но начнем с одноименной новой вещи. “In Your Face” не несет в себе ничего того, чего мы не слышали на прошлом полноформатнике – все тоже пилилово, но не без элементов мелодий и драйва. Кавер-версия композиции «Oops, I Did It Again» звучит прикольно и зажигательно, но не более. Технически она довольно простенькая со всякими непрофессиональными вставками и ритмами, что не дает воспринимать ее серьезно. В итоге, последние два сингла создали некую интригу вокруг альбома – он должен быть вроде бы и живее прошлого, а вроде и нет. Это мы сможем узнать в сентябре после его выхода. |
