 Шестой альбом немецких хард рокеров характеризуется возращением группы к корням, то есть к классическому драйвовому и мощному хард року, по типу первых записей этой банды. Будет неуместным заявлять здесь, что ранее группа играла тотальный отстой в стиле грандж, поскольку каждому слушателю характерен свой вкус и взгляд на музыку, а каждому периоду характерен свой путь развития. Что ж, период экспериментов закончился, и команда вошла в новый этап, открыв cледующую главу жизни коллектива. Немаловажную роль играет голос нового вокалиста, потому как музыка Пинк Крима действительно изменилась. Я не скажу, что в худшую или лучшую сторону, просто она стала несколько другой, но как бы там ни было, свой стиль прослеживается чётко и ясно. Качество записи у альбома отличное, что и немудрено, поскольку со времён дебютного диска Пинки выпускают исключительно высококачественные и профессионально записанные, а также исполненные работы. Этот характерный звук, что появился на данном альбоме, будет преследовать банду ещё очень долго, изменяясь только по своей жёсткости и тяжести. Атмосфера музыки перетерпела также сильнейшие изменения. Если раньше это была некая расслабленность и несерьёзность, порой альтернативный несобранность, то теперь слушатель может насладиться угаром чистейшего харда, таким, каким и проповедовали его классики, такие как Дио, Рэйнбоу и Вайт Снейк. Переходя к самой музыкальной части, замечу, что песни не обладают чересчур сильной хитовостью и представляются просто сильными и запоминающимися номерами, лишёнными каких либо недостатков или недочётов. Хотя, как сказать, и парочку действительно зверски цепляемых номеров я бы с легкостью выделил. Это, например такие супер треки как «Over The Fire» с гостевым участием Ральфа Шиперса (Primal Fear, ex-Tyran Pace, ex-Gamma Ray) и Диси Купера (ex-Royal Hunt, Silent Force), открывающий номер «Shame», полу баллада «Rocket Ride» и крутой кач «Losing My Faith». В целом, весьма удачная пластинка, реально заслуживающая оценки в виде девяти баллов и звания альбома года в стиле хард рок. Но что касается шедевров в дискографии Пинк Крима 69, то они стали появляться несколько позже, не так просто было восстановить прежнюю силу, после таких скитаний в дебрях экспериментов. Как бы там ни было, но данный диск есть обязательным приобретением для всех поклонников творчества этой замечательной группы и других поклонников хард рока. |
