«You can shove the sins of the your father where no light may pass
and kiss my Scandinavian ass!»
Абсолютно ВСЕ песни имеют собственную уникальную мелодику, а такие, как «Shadow of Swastika», «Take Your Tyrant» и «Hall of Freedom» иначе, как мелодически гениальными, и не назовёшь — от них просто невозможно оторваться.

Flames of the free, just come and take me
Out of deep desperation
After I burn it will be your turn
For the good of our nation
Flames of the free, just come and take me
Let me fall in the fire
After I burn it will be your turn
To be cast on the pyre
Worn out is your welcome when subjects would rather fry than linger
In a world of this heedless hunger desire for freedom grows only stronger
Burning is better when men have been utterly bereft of hope in the future
Flames of the free, just come and take me
Out of deep desperation
After I burn it will be your turn
For the good of our nation
Flames of the free, just come and take me
Let me fall in the fire
After I burn it will be your turn
To be cast on the pyre
2. Shadow Of The Swastika
You who think the hue of your hide means you are to blame
And your father's misdeeds are his son's to carry in shame
Not mine I'll take no part
You can shove the sins of the your father where no light may pass
And kiss my Scandinavian ass
Pages of the past
How long will they last?
A lie lost in the legacy of fools left us this parody unsurpassed
Pages of the past
How long will they last?
The shadow of the Swastika by fools' fears now for far too long has been cast
You who think the hue of your hide means you get to blame
The black for your own faults and so bring humanity shame
Make sure you count me out of the ranks of your inbred morons
With your sewer gas and kiss my Scandinavian ass
Pages of the past
How long will they last?
A lie lost in the legacy of fools left us this parody unsurpassed

3. Take Your Tyrant
Take your tyrant
Take your tyrant
Midwinter's eve falls hard upon the tyrant throne
Migrant birds to warmer lands have flown
As the tyrant ails, throw caution to the gales
Take but heart my friend, you're not alone
Everybody take your tyrant
Make him pay for all his stay
Revolution take your tyrant
Bid him bleed for all his greed
There comes a time for all that marks the final straw
When there is no recourse to the law
If we tread the trails our odyssey unveils
Victory is red in tooth and claw
Everybody take your tyrant
Make him pay for all his stay
Revolution take your tyrant
Bid him bleed for all his greed
Take your tyrant
Take your tyrant
Everybody take your tyrant
Make him pay for all his stay
Revolution take your tyrant
Bid him bleed for all his greed
Take your tyrant
Take your tyrant
Take your tyrant
4. Evening Star
Days are long and nights are cold, the rivers run
I'm swept away down distant paths, the road goes on
From the halls of the free to the tower of torment
Where treasures lie in mountains high
The silent fields of stars so far and wide
The oceans of infinity, the great divide
In the heavens on high is a light so lonely
The evening star that shines so far
When home is far behind and ever the long roads wind
I keep your memory in my mind, one day I'll repay in kind
For so long as I've gone and so far I've wandered
The evening star has shone thus far
River rushing, waters wide, just north of there
Oh would that I was home again and home was here
And the fire was warm and the wind would whisper
You're home again, on roofs the rain
When home is far behind and ever the long roads wind
I keep your memory in my mind, one day I'll repay in kind
For so long as I've gone and so far I've wandered
The evening star has shone thus far
When home is far behind and ever the long roads wind
I keep your memory in my mind, one day I'll repay in kind
For so long as I've gone and so far I've wandered
The evening star to me you are
5. Hall Of Freedom
Brother it breaks my heart
How this could be your part
Chains of a tyranny
Left you in poverty, famine and despair
Ill are the tidings too
Freedom comes not for you
Though I would rather stay
War is the only way, evil and unfair
Forward, we all have the right to be free
Freedom, raise your sword for everyone to see
Fearless, warriors will fight till they fall
Fallen, thousands have been written on the wall
Forward, we all have the right to be free
Freedom, raise your sword for everyone to see
Fearless, warriors will fight till they fall
Farewell, after all we gather in the hall
Hall of freedom
Hall of freedom
Brother your burden weighs
Only to darker days
If we can not supply
All we have done will die hungry and alone
Shelter and food indeed
Freedom is what you need
Much as I hate to say
War is the only way freedom's seed is sown
Forward, we all have the right to be free
Freedom, raise your sword for everyone to see
Fearless, warriors will fight till they fall
Fallen, thousands have been written on the wall
Forward, we all have the right to be free
Freedom, raise your sword for everyone to see
Fearless, warriors will fight till they fall
Farewell, after all we gather in the hall
Hall of freedom
Hall of freedom
6. Fields Of The Fallen
Ways of the wary and the ordinary
Won't take all my time, waste all my days, let me rephrase
All expire, I lived by the lyre
Follow me
To the fields of the fallen
Where the legends lie
Should you suddenly join in their numbers
Say the last goodbye
From the fields of the fallen
Where the lucky leave
And bring with them the word of the victory
That they did achieve
Riches and glory, who will tell my story
There over the hill, wide is the world, make it all mine
Steal my thunder, your world will go under
Follow me
To the fields of the fallen
Where the legends lie
Should you suddenly join in their numbers
Say the last goodbye
From the fields of the fallen
Where the lucky leave
And bring with them the word of the victory
That they did achieve
7. Konning Hans
Konning hans han sidder pa Kobenhavn
Han lader de lonnebrev skrive
Sender han dem til norrejylland
Erik Otteson lover at give
Lad dem i tarnet ej do
[English Translation:]
King Hans sits in Copenhagen
He lets the secret letters be written
He sends them to norhtern Jutland
And promises to give to Erik Otteson
Never will an equally rich queen come to Denmark
Bid well for the poor widows
That fatherless children my bear
Bid well for the poor prisoners
Let them not perish in the tower
Never will an equally rich queen come to Denmark
And tax not the poor farmer
I do not wish that
But if you be in need of gold or silver
Then let you father know
Never will an equally rich queen come to Denmark
8. Ellindur Bóndi á Jaðri
Ellindur Bóndi á Jaðri
Flestøll munnu hann muna
Hann var so væl til barna komin
Tríati átti hann synir
Her er gott at dansa
Ellindur stendur á hallargólvi
Eingin talar orð
Hann skeyt fyri sín riddaraskjøldur
Niðast vidð kongsinns bordð
Her er gott at dansa
Stovan hon er nýggj
Stokkar eru av stáli gjørdir
Og tekjan er av blýggj
Her er gott at dansa
Eg havi upp við skatti alið
Tríati synir baldar,
Lívið mítt og góðsið alt
Tað er í tygara valdi
Her er gott at dansa
Fimtan skulu eftir vera
Bóndi, av synum tínum
Annaðslíkt skal aftur fara
Og gleða móður sína
Her er gott at dansa
Stovan hon er nýggj
Stokkar eru av stáli gjørdir
Og tekjan er av blýggj
Her er gott at dansa
[English Translation:]
Ellindur farmer east on Jaðri
Most people may remember him
He had so many children
He had thirty sons
It's good to dance here
Ellindur stands in the hall
Nobody says a wod
He threw his knight shield
Down by the Kings table
It's good to dance here
The hall is new
The beams are made of steel
And the roof is of lead
It's good to dance here
With tax I have raised
Thirty bold sons
My life and my estates
I leave in your command
It's good to dance here
Fifteen shall remain
Famer, of your sons
The same amount shall return
And make their mother happy
It's good to dance here
The hall is new
The beams are made of steel
And the roof is of lead
It's good to dance here
9. Nine Words Of Lore
Nine worlds of lore
This is the place we keep the weapon of war
Why have you come to Jotunheim all alone
You must be tired and in vain you have flown
I'll keep this force to fell the
Nine worlds of lore
Such was the world in dark days of yore
Safekeeper of the world then was Thor
Such was what they believed in before
Nine were the worlds of lore
Nine worlds of lore
I will not let you wield this hammer of war
So I have come to Jotunheim all alone
To take back what is mine I'll break every bone
By right this weapon wards the
Nine worlds of lore
Such was the world in dark days of yore
Safekeeper of the world then was Thor
Such was what they believed in before
Nine were the worlds of lore
10. The Lay Of Thrym
Hammertheft and all the world bereft
Of reason and of right overnight
Left between a tyrant's temper mean
And treason and betrayal, cold and stale
Hue and cry, I can't sit idly by
We're hostages to greed, intercede
All you have is illgotten gain
You stand only for your own
Any man may throw you off the throne
Seat will not be set for thee
At the league of free nations
May this mark the end of your reign
Let the lay of Thrym be heard
Leave no tyrant out there undeterred
Thunderstruck theocracy
This theodicy heathen
In the end the giant was slain
Hammer home to any despots dome
That tales of tyranny end with me
Hue and cry, I can't sit idly by
We're hostages to greed, intercede
All you have is illgotten gain
You stand only for your own
Any man may throw you off the throne
Seat will not be set for thee
At the league of free nations
May this mark the end of your reign
Let the lay of Thrym be heard
Leave no tyrant out there undeterred
Thunderstruck theocracy
This theodicy heathen
In the end the giant was slain
