 Второй альбом канадцев Exciter "Violence & Force" - один из лучших образцов спид-трэша 80-х. Здесь есть все, что нужно: бешеная скорость, угар, море драйва, музыка в меру жесткая, но и не лишенная доли мелодики. Отмечу вокал - высокий, а местами визгливый, но тем не менее нисколько не раздражающий.
Что касается песен, то весь альбом выполнен в одном духе - скоростные боевики, лишенные мозгов, но под завязку наполненные энергетикой, которая моментально поднимет настроение, даже если оно и на нуле. Все песни - стопроцентные хиты, и ни одна из них, влетев в одно ухо, через другое бесследно вылететь не сможет. Тем не менее, хочется выделить две вещи - "Delivering to the Master" с красивым акустическим вступлением и последнюю тему "War Is Hell", где канадцы все-таки решили принять вид поумнее.
Качество записи для '84 года на вполне приемлемом уровне, слушать можно, а любителям спид- и трэш-металла нужно, причем в обязательном порядке.
